Mike and I are big UVa fans and we particularly love the basketball and baseball teams. On Friday, we had the opportunity to go to a baseball game. Although it was pretty chilly, we had a wonderful time cheering our team to a win over the University of North Carolina.
The atmosphere at UVa’s ballpark is magical. It’s a family-friendly atmosphere and a great place for date night! Tickets are affordable and the food is not too expensive. We had nice seats with a great view of home plate. We’ve been anxious to see one of the freshman players, Henry Ford, in person as we’ve previously only watched him on t.v. I love this picture that I snapped of Henry!
We’re already planning our next trip to Charlottesville to watch the team. Hopefully it will be warmer at the next game!
