I had a few ideas for a project that I didn’t want to forget. So I fired up my voice notes app and began recording. As I cruised down the road, talking to myself, a deer suddenly jumped out of the brush on the side of the road and began racing alongside the car. At one point, I thought the deer was going to veer off into the front fender of the car. Forgetting all about the recording, I shouted out as I worked to avoid hitting the deer. Once all was safe, I remembered that the app was recording and quickly shut it down. I haven’t been able to bring myself to listen to the recording to see what I actually said when all of this was happening!
