BioPoem #sol19

I’ve been checking out bio poems and was inspired by the directions for creating a bio poem at  I made a few little adjustments here and there, but I enjoyed this format!

Loving, bookish, thankful for my many blessings

A teacher of a wonderful group of students

Who loves her family, friends, and books

Who feels inspired by my fellow teacher-writers

Who fears losing family members as they get older

Who hopes to accomplish writing a book someday

Who wants to experience further opportunities for travel

Who lives in Virginia

The drive into Floyd, Virginia is gorgeous. AND my son took me to dance at the General Store one Friday night! That’s one of my favorite memories. I enjoyed your poem – poetry seems like riskier writing, but it always feels good to have done!
