Book Spine Poetry-#sol17

Today, I used the titles of professional books from my shelves to create poetry.  I’m still trying to gain my footing with poetry, but love this method for writing poems.

I really like the idea of limiting the spine poetry to certain shelves of books. I’ve been working on some using my parenting books, which is really fun. I think spine poetry is such an engaging invitation to write poetry, which can be daunting for many writers (including me!)

I have previously experienced spine poetry with visuals of the actual books. This is a variation on that idea. I always enjoy innovations. Thanks for sharing your poetry and extending my thinking and awareness.
